CURRENT PROJECTS
I am currently working with the Howlround platform on an analysis of the Staging A Revolution Festival (2010) using data analytics methods. The project draws on a data repository from the platform to examine global spectatorship at a theater event where over 50% of viewership was online. This is a first step in a larger project on the use of streaming technologies, VR/AR and participatory media in global theater practice.
I began working on this project as a participant at the National Endowment for the Humanities' Summer Institute in Digital Technologies in Theater & Performance, organized by Sarah Bay-Cheng and David Saltz.
